The Conservation & Coffee Collaboration. offers an opportunity for local conservation commissions to share information about ongoing conservation projects, commission challenges and a chance to collaborate with other towns and organizations.

The diverse range of activities, projects, and goals of each commission illustrates the diversity of the Squam watershed and the many fascinating ways in which conservation can be expressed and accomplished. Come to share your projects, thoughts, and stories!

Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest Tour

Join us along with one of Hubbard Brook’s resident scientists on a walk through the 7,800 acre Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest as we learn about their long-term research programs focused on understanding the response of northern forest ecosystems to natural and man-made disturbances.   Read more about Hubbard Brook here.

Wine Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser

Squam Lakes Conservation Society and The Common Man, with a combined 116 years of doing good in our communities, have once again teamed up to present this fun evening with delicious wine and food to support the stewardship of conservation land in the Squam Lakes region.

The evening will feature a five-course dinner paired with Napa Valley’s Copper Cane Wine & Provisions, as well as a silent auction. Price per ticket is $195 (tax and gratuities included.) Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.
